Indigenous Daly River Spectacular

Take an adventurous dry season safari exploring the rugged Reynolds River track through remote parts of Litchfield National Park. Swim at rarely-visited Surprise Creek Falls. See the riverside community of of Nauiyu. Drop a line for a barramundi in the famous Daly River, the largest river in the Top End.

ITINERARY

Litchfield National Park

Take the back roads from your Darwin hotel to Litchfield National Park. Stretch your legs at Woolaning Spring and boil the billy for a refreshing tea or coffee.

Reynolds River Track

Follow the four-wheel drive Reynolds River track through the rugged, rarely visited southern part of Litchfield National Park.

Surprise Falls Creek lunch

After crossing the Reynolds River, cool off with a refreshing swim at Surprise Creek Falls while your indigenous guide prepares a sumptuous lunch of local game meats.

Nauiyu and Daly River

After a visit to the Nauiyu community, throw in a line and try for the Top End’s famous barramundi at the Daly River, the longest river in the Northern Territory.

Back to Darwin

Tropical summer
